SILVER TERM NEWS LETTER.
Dear parents / guardians,
APPRECIATION: We would like to express our gratitude and appreciation to the Almighty God for the successful end of the Silver term despite challenges that came our way this term. We specially thank God for our supportive parents, for their spirit of cooperation and understanding and their immense contributions towards our INTERNATIONAL DAY / COLOUR & RHYMES DAY CELEBRATION. May God continue to bless you.
ACHIEVEMENT: A lot of achievement was recorded this term, internally and externally. Some of these are:
- THE INTERNATIONAL DAY / COLOUR & RHYMES DAY CELEBRATION: Our fourth biennial International Day Celebration was held on the 15th of March, 2019, where we recognized Unity in Diversity, as we celebrated cultures abroad. Also, the beauty of different colours was celebrated by our nursery learners. It was a colourful and wonderful event.

- EXTERNAL COMPETITION: The school participated in Mathematics Supremacy Page Two competition organized by Spelling Rumble and Nwachukwu Emmanuel, a pupil in Primary 6 came out third and was awarded a Rice Cooker.

ADVICE CORNER. i. Monitor what your children watch on television. ii. Limit the time they utilize in watching television. iii. Ensure they do not watch any show that is immoral. iv. Keep television off during dinner and other family time. v. Ensure they go to bed on time.

- STAFF TRAINING ON FIRST AID: As part of service training,
the staff were trained on how to handle common emergency
conditions, using First Aid treatment and some other Life-saving
skills.
SCHOOL FEES: We would like to inform our parents / guardians
(new and existing ones) that customized tellers showing full
payment of fees should be presented to the school on / before
resumption date.
GRADUATION CEREMONY / PRIZE-GIVING DAY: The
Graduation / Prize-giving ceremony will come up on the 18th of
July, 2019. The dress code for all graduating learners (KG and
Primary 6) is navy blue or black suit with white shirt and wine tie.
GRADUATING / END OF SESSION LEVY: Graduating learners in KG will pay N8,000 (Eight thousand naira) only and Primary 6 learners will pay N10,000 (Ten thousand naira) only. Non-graduating learners (Nursery 1&2, Primary 1-5) will pay N7,000 (Seven thousand naira) only.
HOLIDAY PROJECT: Parents / guardians are implored to ensure that their children / wards do their projects, as it is going to be a part of their Continuous Assessment Test (C.A.T).
BABIES OF THE TERM: We thank God for helping our parents to be delivered of their babies. We use this medium to rejoice with the following parents: Mr. & Mrs. Olonade, Mr. & Mrs. Stephen, Mr. & Mrs. Ajibode.
THIRTY YEARS ANNIVERSARY: The school will be celebrating her thirty years anniversary. The date of the celebration will be communicated to our parents.
YEAR BOOK: The school is celebrating the 30th Anniversary with a year book for every child. The amount has been added to the bill.
ASSIGNMENT: It is our policy to give take-home assignments of at least two per day. No learner therefore goes home any day without assignment.
UPCOMING EVENTS:
- Workers’ Day - 1st of May, 2019.
- Children’s Day - It will be observed on the 24th of May, 2019.
iii. Mid-term Exam - 31st of May, 2019 – 4th of June, 2019.
- Open Day – 11th of June, 2019.
- Mid-term Break - 12th of June, 2019 – 14th of June, 2019.
- PTIF Meeting – 22nd of June, 2019.
vii. Graduation / Prize-giving Day – 18th of July, 2019.
RESUMPTION: The school would be re-opened on Monday, 29th of April, 2019.
