GOLD TERM NEWS LETTER

Dear Parents/Guardians

APPRECIATION: We would like to express our gratitude and appreciation to the Almighty God who has been with us from the beginning of this term till the end, in which we were able to exhibit our high standard of character building and academic excellence.

ACHIEVEMENTS: The school participated in different competitions, both internal and external.

INTERNAL COMPETITIONS: The learners participated in mathematics competitions and those who emerged  as the winners were awarded gifts such as stationery items. Also Debate, chess and essay writing competitions were held between the two schools (School 1 &2). For the chess competition, Annetie Hephzibah came out first, Olonade Desmond, second and Adeyemi Comfort third position in the lower primary. For the upper primary learners, Atansuyi Emmanuella came out first while Madu Myron came out second position. For the essay competition, Amos Daniel came first in primary six while Emmanuel Praise came out first in primary three.

EXTERNAL COMPETITION : The school participated in the Spelling Rumble Season 6 which featured over 200 learners and Elias Jeremiah, a primary three learners emerged 5^th position.

Secondly, Educomm Speech Masters’ Spelling Bee competition featuring over 40 schools from both private and public and Adesuyi Samuel came out first position.

NATIONAL DAY CELEBRATION: Our first  National Day Celebration was held on 24^th February 2022 where we celebrated unity in cultural diversity, presenting different cultures Nationwide.

VISIT TO LITTLE SAINT ORPHANAGE HOME: The school visited the Little Saint’s Orphanage Home on the 1^st of July 2022. Our learners with the support of their parents and school management presented a lot of gifts to them. The Lord will bless you all.

BABIES OF THE YEAR: The entire family of Elias rejoices and celebrates with the following families for God’s gift of bouncing baby boys and girls. Mr & Mrs Brown, Mr & Mrs Chinedu,  Mr & Mrs Akintola, Mr and Mrs Omotosho and Mr and Mrs Ozor.

CHILDREN’S DAY CELEBRATION: We had a wonderful and colourful children’s Day celebration in the school and the learners had a lot of fun.

PUNCTUALITY: It is said that punctuality is the soul of business. You are hereby encouraged to always prepare your child/ward on time for school. Our resumption time is 7:45 am, while the closing time remains 2:30pm (for Nursery classes) 3:00pm (for primary classes).

NEATNESS AND MODE OF DRESSING: Parents are expected to ensure their children dress in a hygienic and are presentable within and outside the school premises. The school accepts only black shoes and school customizes stockings

SCHOOL FESS: The school management will appreciate payment of all fees on or before resumption date.

HOLIDAY PROJECTS:  Parents are to ensure their children do their projects during the holiday and submit on the first day of resumption.

ASSIGNMENT: We place a high level of interest on take home assignment in this school. It is our policy to give at least two per day. No learner therefore goes home any day without assignment. If you notice anything different, please inform us immediately.

TEXTBOOKS: Payment for books should be done from the first week of August to enable us get our books on time.

SUMMER SCHOOL: Our Summer Holiday Lesson is always on for learners from our school and from other schools around, there will be skill acquisition among others. The Summer School starts on Monday 1^st of August to 26^th of August, 2022. The fee is N3000 (Three Thousand Naira) for Nursery learners while Primary Learners will pay N5000 (Five thousand Naira).

There will also be excursion during the summer school. The fee is N5000 (Five Thousand Naira)

PARENTS –TEACHERS INTERACTIVE  FORUM (PTIF): We appreciate parents that are always present at the PTIF. We encourage those who do not always attend to turn a new leaf.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Our school uniform remains the same as follows:

• Customised plain top
• Customized checkered
• Customized socks
• School sport wear
• Black shoes
• School cardigan
• NO OTHER ACCESSORIES APART FROM THE ONE LISTED ABOVE WILL BE PERMITED AS REGARD CLOTHING.

Resumption : The School will resume for bronze term on Monday 12^th Sept 2022.
